Michael Newman joins the Benchmark team -1/15/2007

Michael Newman, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, recently became the newest member of the Benchmark team.

Newman has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Health Studies both from the University of Alabama. He has also completed his coursework for his Ph.D in Instructional Technology.

Newman serves as Vice President for Business Development and has spent his career focused on Web based programs and working with clients to develop cost effective user-friendly systems. While working to complete his Ph.D. at The University of Alabama, Michael was the lead instructor in Instructional Technology programs and helped to develop new class curriculum for Undergraduate and graduate students. Michael has shared his expertise in development, instruction, professional development and best practices with businesses and schools across the country.

Since joining Benchmark, he has created the company’s website (www.myBenchmark.com), developed an Online Essay Reading module, and is currently working to build a GED Accommodation Module.
